Pepco has submitted its Climate Solutions 5-Year Action Plan: Benefits and Costs analysis, the last in a series of filings with the Public Service Commission of the District of Columbia (DCPSC) outlining the steps we are proposing to help enable the District’s roadmap toward decarbonization, electrification, clean energy and energy efficiency.
Our Climate Solutions Plan highlights how we will leverage the unique nature of the grid as a ‘connector and activator’ to provide programs and opportunities for our customers and communities to access and enable climate solutions equitably, inclusively, and affordably, while driving innovation and building resilience.
During this virtual event, participants will receive an overview of the independent assessment completed by global economic consulting firm, The Brattle Group, to determine the cost-effectiveness and evaluation of benefits of the 62 programs included in Pepco’s 5-Year Action Plan. This includes the determination of $1.68 in benefits for every $1 Pepco would spend on the 5-Year Action Plan programs. Speakers will include:
• David Schatz, Director of Strategy, Utility of the Future, Pepco Holdings
• Pearl Donohoo-Vallett, Manager of Strategic Planning, Pepco Holdings
Our Climate Solutions Plan filings include extensive input from community leaders and stakeholders. We look forward to your continued engagement as we move toward developing future filings with the DCPSC to advance the programs and benefits outlined in our 5-Year Action Plan.
